We really appreciate the enthusiasm of folks passing on skills they learned from us.
I have gotten several emails recently, from folks who have not had the program from us, but have done some training where skills learned from us are being passed on.
Hence the following advice and request.
There is an issue of passing on the “how” skill, without first the “why and when” aspect to the technical skill. Make sure that whatever you are teaching, it is taught in the, what, why, when, how order.
Technical skills without application understanding are worthless. The why and the when before the how.
Don’t let enthusiasm outpace the learners time-frame. Pass on less per session to ensure better understanding, limit the scope of the session.
On a side note, we are starting to pick back up in October, stand by for calendar updates.
